I'm going to make an appointment with the doc for tomorrow.

I just took Max to the baby shop to get him a cushion for sitting up with and a sling for hip carry, and that wall went fine. We hopped back in the car and came home.

It wasn't till I went to get him out of the car that I found I'd forgotten to strap him into his seat!

I felt the same way not too long ago--I was having deja vu spells that seemed just a little too recurrent, and I was freaked.

This article made me feel better--basically, deja vu is just misplaced chemicals in your brain. While the mental reset you experienced is a little more concerning, my guess is it's something similar. There's another article that seems to describe your situation (a little scary, but ultimately it says that women face greater stress now than they ever have before, and stress has been linked in many ways to forgetfulness).

We all have our own flavors of crazy. :p

Has this ever happened to you?
Happens all the time. I'll get up and walk to the other end of the house to get/do something, and by the time I get there, I have no idea what I was after.

Of course, I'm old. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Senility.
Learn to love it before you forget.

Aliantha--so how'd the doctor appointment go?

EDIT: Actually, that's none of my damn business. I'll just leave it at "hope the news was good."
