Lamp , that's gorgeous.

I could say the same about Diz.
Only I cuff him down the bed and hiss at him because treading all over my hair 40 minutes before I am due to get up just makes me unhappy at the sleep I've lost.

At that time of the morning it's fuck cats, fuck nature and fuck Orion and his fucking belt.

See, right there.

I'm that way about mornings too. But for Gaines it's wailing, and wailing, and wailing...half the night wanting in then out then in then out, then in the morning before I'm ready to get up.

He's the loudest fucking cat EVER. Can I get his voicebox removed?

I blame the parents. if they hadn't given in to this behaviour when he was a kitten.....

From War of the Roses:
The moral of this story (other than dog people should not marry cat people)...

Wow just wow! How could anyone deny another human being the pleasure of unconditional love? Only those that are not capable of real love. I feel Monster is capable of love because of all the things she does for her kids she is exempt, besides I think she actually likes cats!

"If you have men who will exclude any of God's creatures
from the shelter of compassion and pity,
you will have men who will deal likewise with their fellow man."

I was reading or hearing somewhere about how dogs were crucial to the survival of the human species. I think the relationship goes back 15,000 years or more.

Gotta find that reference...

I put that in the plus column for dogs.

Men try to hide it, but we really don't mature past 7th grade.

Well, at least all worth knowing.

Diz is spooked by my farts. Never worked out whether it was the sound or the smell, but he certainly reacts.

I think dogs are better than cats for two reasons.

One: Cats will not lick bacon grease/peanut butter off your testicles. No matter what.

And, two: Cats rarely do things like this:

Cats play with string all the time. Not always a good thing.

I love my dogs, and I'll never be without at least one, even though they sometimes fart inappropriately, or trample my vege garden just when the seedlings are coming up, or bark at other nasty dogs sniffing at their fence, or slobber on me while they're telling me how much they love me, or gently bite me when I'm playing silly rough games with them. I also love them because they protect me from anyone unannounced coming through the gate and they'll stand by me even when I'm a bitch to them because I've had a shit day.

There's no one in the world who loves me like my puppy dogs do, and that suits me. There's no one in the world who loves my puppy dogs the way I do, except maybe Max.

Only thing not to like about dogs:
They don't live long enough and break our hearts when they go.
