I'll solve that this way - I'm taking a break from interacting with you. How is that. I'll be the bad guy and go sit in time out.
Does that mean you'll be joining Shawnee on the naughty step ?;P

[eta] and if so, can I come too?

A new member to PD. We picked up him from Livejournal, which to be honest explains a lot. By my preference, he'd go right back there.

Trust me when I say he is about as liked at PD as he is here.

Just making sure, we're talking about the OP, Arafelis, right?

As do I, and I didn't fact check...I assumed...which made an Ass of U and, apparently, classic.

Come on, I'm trying for levity here folks. Work with me.

Apology accepted.

Well, if you feel its necessary. You don't need to, you could just treat me like you would any other member. That's all I'm asking, that I not be treated as some threatening, lying outsider.

I've set up camp on the naughty step. Next thing you know Sister Frances will make me beat blackboard erasers together for punishment. (The joke was on her: it was fun and most of the chalk ended up on the building.)

But, I might let classic and you join me if you give me your peanut butter sandwiches at lunch?!?

Right, well I'm going to have a coffee, put up a couple of wardrobes and read a copy of the Blackwell Companion to Political Theology.

Later, everyone.

The real question is will this thread break 300 before the end of the day?

Edit:

Crap, this doesn't bode well for hitting 300.

so only established long time users can be themselves and engage in lively discussion? newcomers must adopt some alternate personality and posting style? where are the rules for what type of personality i need to adopt, how lively my discussion can get and how long i need to be this other person before i can post enthusiastically as myself?
