Autumn Images

Just got back 10 days ago from a trip to central PA to see my son and his family. Great fall colors.

Thought I would post a few images, most in color but a few B&Ws as well.

That lake is wonderful! And I love the two shacks!

Thanks, here are 4 others. The boulder field was in Hickory Run State Park and the history was quite interesting. One would assume the rocks are left over rubble from a past glacier but are actually bed rock that was exposed for tens of thousands of years and slowly cracked and broke up from water seeping into cracks and freezing and expanding. The field covers several hundred acres!

The asphault trail shot runs along the old Erie Canal. You know... I had a gal and her name is Sal! 15 miles on the Erie Canal!

Aside from the state park most of these were taken driving small back roads even though my GPS protested and wanted me to be on the highways!

Beautiful! And I know what you mean about the GPS! Why can't they let you choose a route that's all back-roads?
