Jeeze, she looks quite normal compared to my mom. When diminished was here, he told me she got married to the local weirdo who took her to church in a wheelbarrow.

And I shall spend my pension
on brandy and summer gloves
And satin sandals,
and say we've no money for butter.

Oh wait. That's more or less my pattern of spending already

Sounds like my budget. I no longer buy brandy, though. I did see a cute purple dress at the thrift shop. Wonder if its still there. Pics to follow.

"I shall sit down on the pavement when I'm tired
And gobble up samples in shops and press alarm bells
And run my stick along the public railings
And make up for the sobriety of my youth"

Funny, I just posted this somewhere else recently in a thread about aging gracefully....which I refuse to do. Old age is going to have to drag me there, kicking and screaming.

"Whenever Richard Cory went down town,
We people on the pavement looked at him:
He was a gentleman from sole to crown,
Clean favored, and imperially slim.

And he was always quietly arrayed,
And he was always human when he talked;
But still he fluttered pulses when he said,
'Good-morning,' and he glittered when he walked.

And he was rich—yes, richer than a king—
And admirably schooled in every grace:
In fine, we thought that he was everything
To make us wish that we were in his place.

So on we worked, and waited for the light,
And went without the meat, and cursed the bread;
And Richard Cory, one calm summer night,
Went home and put a bullet through his head."
