Todays potential for bastard win is high.

Fuckers screwed us up so much yesterday, instead of picking hebe up super-early after training and racing off to the Shedd aquarium for the afternoon, we were an hour late by the time we finished sending all the necessary emails to protest the cioach kicking Thor from the hockey team without due process and just before the season league quarter-finals he helped them qualify for (he is a weaker player though.....)

We were determined and went anywy, but the line was huge by the time we got there and so froze to death before getting less than 2 hours for our $150 bucks.

plus it looks like we may have failed anyway. He missed practices this weekend because we were away, and asshole coach has told the team Thor is gone, removed us from mailing list..... so even if the authorities decide in our favor (which they should) it's such a done deal it'll be almost impossible for him to get back

Wireless router is up-fucked so no interwebs for last few hours, just when i needed it most. Thor is suspended but not kicked off. Hollow victory, season ends at same time as suspension but the bastard bully coach didn't get to kick him off. Vision is most up-fucked today, just don't even know how to score this shit...

Does stress make the vision worse?

Sorry about Thor. That really sucks.

trying to get my arse to the pool to see if I can still swim. Part of my victory on Friday was managing that, but the pool was closed for maintenance when I got there.....

Yeah, but you're handling it, aren't you. They don't have a clue what they're up against, poor bastards.

Diamond gives carborundum a run for its money:

I shook the hand of the president and the pope in Rome
I've been to parties where I've had to be flown
They said everything was sacred, nothing was profane
And money was something that you throw off the back of trains

Oh always keep a diamond in your mind
You gotta always keep a diamond in your mind
Wherever you may wander
Wherever you may roam
You gotta always keep a diamond in your mind

Steam of the gravy with little fried pearls
Floating like a necklace on a beautiful girl
Jonah says thanks to the food and land
And oh so ever grateful for God's on my hands

Oh always keep a diamond in your mind
Always keep a diamond in your mind
Wherever you may wander
Wherever you may roam
You gotta always keep a diamond in your mind

She's got the milk of human kindness and the fat of the lamb
Scared like a baby, well she drives like a man
She lives outside of Natchez where she operates a crane
She's like a wrecking ball no longer connected to the chain

Oh Zererella Samuel said she almost never prayed
Said she lost her right arm, blown off in a Pinkerton raid
Then they lashed her to a windmill with old 3-fingered Dave
Now she's 102 drinking mint juleps in the shade

Everybody, always keep a diamond in your mind
You gotta always keep a diamond in your mind
Wherever you may wander
Wherever you may roam
Your gotta always keep a diamond in your mind

Always keep a diamond in your mind
Always keep a diamond in your mind
Wherever you may wander
Wherever you may roam
Your gotta always keep a diamond in your mind

Always keep a diamond in your mind
Always keep a diamond in your mind
Wherever you may wander
Wherever you may roam
Your gotta always keep a diamond in your mind

Always keep a diamond in your mind
Always keep a diamond in your mind

It scares peple when I'm scared I just drove 500 miles to Cleveland and back through snowstorm and Friday rushhour, i thought it would be OK. Maybe I'll take the big car on Thursday

Hell no... but I won't be challenging you on the highway.
Think back to when you first started driving on the right side of the road. It can't be worse than that, and you succeeded.

So Thursday didn't happen -morning practice was cancelled because of the game that night. So yesterday was the second attempt. I took the Fit again. I made it, but I was shitting bricks the whole time, literally shaking with fear again. but not quite as much. i wasn't crying when i got home, but I didn't exactly feel awesome.

Last night, I had to drive on the freeway in the dark in semi rush-hour to get Hebe from Lifeguard glass 15 miles away. HATED IT I was still scared even though I was in the tank (Dodge Grand Caravan) and i'd just driven that route a few hours earlier in the rush hour and it was fine. But it was better.

So this morning (morning practice again, i took the tank. Much better. I think the problem is that when I drive stick, i rely on my left hand to steer, especially in heavy traffic when changing gear is more frequent. My left hand is currently unreliable -or at least I feel it is, especially when I am concentrating my attention elsewhere. And right now, I feel the need to pay extra attention to my surroundings, especially in the dark, while i get used to my new vision. So why make it so hard? It will get better with time. just because I'm driving the tank in the mornings now doesn't mean I'm doomed to never driving the Fit again.

Plus people like to fuck with little cars -i have enough to be dealing with right now without inviting fuckery. they say you should do something that scares you every day. I'm pretty sure they don't mean the same thing every day. unless they get their income from the loony bin industry
