Best official music videos of all time

Ok, so, any era since music videos became a thang, and must be the official video for that release. Remember this is about the video, not the song, though usually if one is good so is the other.

I'll start things off with a little Fatboy Slim:

Video Killed the Radio Star deserves to be here for pride of place if nothing else (it was the very first video to played on MTV), but I'm having trouble finding the actual video (as opposed to stage performances) on youtube.

OMG I loved Video Killed the Radio Star.

I vote Sledgehammer.
Even though the song is not my fave.

Y'all know I adore Crowded House.
But they've never had the budget for really, REALLY good vids.

My favorite is Sledgehammer but I like this one, too:

Yeah okay I found Crowded House video.
NOT the best vid of all time.
But I watched it first in a hotel in Dublin - we didn't have MTV at home.

Most peeps at work knew I was a Crowdie (yeah, blame the Aussies for the contraction) and kept telling me how much they loved the song and the video. The song had a good deal of airtime on breakfast radio, but I had no way to see the video. Well, except CD:UK. And it wasn't really their bag (Ant & Dec & Cat Deeley)

This song still means so much to me. Even though I am an old beggar onw.

Still so young to travel so far
Old enough to know who you are
Wise enough to carry the scars
Without any blame; there's no-one to blame

Good to see you, Tril.

Can't see your first one Tril. Not available in this country
Like the second song, but not the vid.
Bastard-killing-shitheads led to having the Army on the streets.
Then as now. And you know I'm from a Catholic family.
Fuck them if they don't like the consequences.

Love Brimful of Asha.
Vid isn't all that great though.
Also liked Sleep on the left side, keep the sword hand free, never seen the vid though.
Prolly very violent if I knew the whole song.

And sorry to go back over old ground, but this thread got me on a Crowded House jag.
It's wonderful and painful to see Paul Hester alive and talented and happy. Man was a powerhouse. Burned out too soon.

The band is called OK Go. There music is not to my taste. Their videos are awesome. I believe the sister of one of the band is responsible for a lot of the coolness.

First, the "treadmill video":

Then my favourite, the Rube Goldberg Machine one:

and furthermore, the rally driving one (driven entirely by the real band)

Heart.
Pet Shop Boys.

Ignore previous post. Although if you read it I hope you understand my confusion.

Bloody love Neil Tennant's voice.
So does David McDonald. So much so that when he had to change his name for Equity he chose Neil's surname. Ya-get-me?

I saw Pet Shop Boys live in concert while in college. To this day it's the only major event I've ever been to where there was a line for the men's room, but none for the ladies. We were all laughing about it inside.
