On Monday night, I stayed up till about 1.30 am watching the last of season 4 of GoT, then woke before 5am. I was pretty tired yesterday, so went to bed at 7.30 when Max did and slept in till almost 7am this morning. I feel pretty good today, which is lucky, cause I have a lot to do.

When you're old, you really do have to make up for loss of sleep. haha At least, that's what I'm finding.

I suddenly need twice as much sleep s I used to. I thought it was the stroke, but maybe it's just age :/

I find that my reaction to lack of sleep is different as I get older too. Used to be, I'd just yawn all day and zone out. Now I find myself snapping and being irritable instead, and not necessarily noticing that I'm tired at all.

Yep, all of the above for me. I just try to make sure i get 8 hours each night and i am ok. I do love my girls weekends for stress relief though. Always good for catching up on sleep too.

I need 8-9 hours' sleep/night, and have ever since childhood.

I get anywhere from 4 to 6 hours most nights, and sometimes I luck out and get 7 or more ... never more than 8. I feel undefeatable/indefatigable when I get that much sleep! Maybe it's a good thing it doesn't happen that often, ha.
