Um, yea, Hi

Okay, so I feel like a complete dweeb doing this, but I am finally making my first post here.

I was turned onto IotD a while ago, but never registered.

When I did finally register, I was such a chicken about posting, I haven't logged on since then. But here I am, jumping in feet first.

I started posting now because I belong to another board, but it is geared toward a specific medical condition, but sometimes I just want normal people! Yes, you guys

Anyway....see you around

Oh and I only have a connection at work, so if I don't answer overnight, that is why - not being a bitch or anything!

So you've been coming here for over two years, and are finally posting? That's great! Welcome.

You must have a pretty good feel for the place and know everyone already? But we don't know you. Tell us a little about yourself.

wow you are shy. well dont worry. we are very loving, caring, open minded cannibals. you'll go down quite well with the rest of us. we will try and spice up your life a bit and trim back that shyness. we like to give each other a good roasting from time to time so dont worry if you get thrown in the mix too.

Thanks for the welcome. And if I call you normal, just think what I am like.

Let's see, a little about me, well it depends on what you want to know. I just moved to NC from my lifelong home on Memorial day and want to go back. I am making myself stick it out for a year, though.

I am 26 and working as a contract worker, right now on assignment for four months - luckily they have short term leases, so if I can't find anything, I can always leave early.

I am not sure what else you would want to know, though.

Your lifelong home was actually ON Memorial day?

Kewl!

Structural ambiguity, couldn't resist.

Welcome!

Welcome bbro. I am fairly new, though I didn't lurk for long. I found these folks to be funny, insightful, and quick with the wit. Throw in the occasional sarcasm, double entendres, and friendly jabs, and I think "I've found my peeps!"

I'm hoping someday they see me as one of them!

Yea! Although, it sucked, I could only come out once a year. This time, I ran away. Now they have to wait another year just to look for me.

Well, I don't know about the rest of the members, but I know why some are shy to post. I lurk for the most part even now because I don't like putting myself on the spot most of the time. But it is fun sometimes.

Again, welcome! And you can just ignore us crazies.
