Bummer. Is it salvageable, or are we talking a major consequences kind of crash-and-burn?

It's finals this week (W-F). 3 revision packets due tomorrow. had them a week or so, figured he could do them all tonight, "forgot" to mention them. So no, not recoverable (they are graded). He currently has the highest grades he's ever had bar freshman year but... I have done nothing else but keep him on track for the last couple months. there any many other non-school issues going on. All involve lying and a very different perception of reality. Horrible entire family session at counselor on Saturday ...

oh wait ...huge bigass day for me tomorrow, jobwise. really needed this shit. so much. he was probably worried I might actually sleep and prepare properly and that would be way too weird

Bamboo kitchen implements and chopping boards.

What is the fucking point? If they can't go in the dishwasher,, they're not "sustainable" in my life. And they've totally replaced basic decent basic wooden things. Now you can only get fancy wooden things THAT CAN'T GO IN THE DISHWASHER. It's the "dry clean only" scam for the kitchen. Grrr.

I wouldn't wash wooden stuff in the dishwasher either.

Wooden utensils (in or out of the dishwasher) actually support less bacterial growth than plastic ones.

For the record, I consider "do not put in dishwasher" instructions to be a casual suggestion, at best.

Me too ...to my detriment on more than one occasion (same as dry clean only, although in my experience, that is definitely more ignorable)

I think the problem with the bamboo is that anything sizeable must be made of several pieces joined and the glue/craftsmanship can't handle the dishwasher.
