Only takes one - like the one that was in our yard during the peak of a rabies cycle when we lived in NY. Confirmed by the health dept, and 3 of us got the shots. But no, I don't think all skunks are rabid. We were just, umm, lucky. The hog-nose skunks around here seem huge by comparison to the others (like the one in the video).

That's why we smile when people from outside the UK talk about "an English accent". That's proper talking in Keighley!

That man is as hard to understand as a native Nawlins-er! Lord!

There are animals in this country I'd never heard of until recently. Down south they have a thing called a nutria. they are nuisance animals; the sons of the soil go around shooting them.

When a youngster and had an interest in hunting, I asked my Dad, a man of few words, can you eat a skunk? He replied "can you eat shit?"

One of my neighbors told me "Even a crow won't eat a fox" I've seen plenty of crows eat skunk though. I'm not sure I could get hungry enough for either.

Oh nad by the way, skunk used to be called American Sable. Very soft fur apparently. Story somewhere...

I knew someone when I was high school that had a pet skunk. He had had the scent glands removed so it couldn't spray you. It was really beautiful and sweet and funny though.
