not on the floor. on steps, likely on the ladder or on some steplike blocks. knee/shin, then up one step, hand and handle, then up one step, and the two points of the umbrella's ribs. the steps don't have to be level, hm?

I'm watching Primetime on ABC (actually, I'm not. I'm posting, having just finished the day's newscan, and the TV is serving primarily to provide ambient background noise to facilitate the process, not to mention boring you to tears with this stream of consciousness that serves to kill time whilst I await impatiently for the end of the commercials, vaguely recalling an article I read recently about metajournalism, and meta-everything, considering that, indeed, this HAS become a meta-post, such status notwithstanding, recalling yet another article in recent memory discussing letter-writing in Victorian America which was often full of such stream of consciousness revelations and frequent digressions...)
