Short hair

http://www.buzzfeed.com/janeclaireh/...hair-cqtr?bffb

Dilemmas for the woman with short hair ...

sometimes it feels sexy. Sometimes it feels like grandma rose from her grave and had her revenge.

No worries, I'm rockin' the Jamie Lee Curtis vibe for now.

Any other thoughts? Men? Women?

Got a good laugh out of that list. When I cut my hair, my father-in-law's first thoughts were "Did you sell it? Don't worry, it'll grow back."

So tactful.

Hair length is never much of a factor in whether I find someone attractive or not. It's a tiny feature in what makes up a person's physical appearance.

Though people look completely different to me when they go from one extreme to another. Usually not worse/better unless something else has changed in addition to hair length.

I have long hair. About 4" past my shoulders at this point. I get a little self-conscious when I put it in a ponytail to go running. I'm afraid I'll look like one of those stereotypical ponytailed douchebags.

I like short hair on women with long necks.

ETA: When I was there, at the bottom of that list, was a link to an article on the vagaries of being a female sports fan. The pic was of Chicago Bears panties. Black. Lace.

Baby will have these.

If I feel sexy, my hair is sexy.
I know men are visual creatures, but if a man thinks I am not sexy just because I have short hair, then he can go tug on his wang instead.
I'm happy to make the best of myself, but it has to suit my own personal tastes.

When I grew my hair for a man it irritated the fuck out of me.
Truth is my fine hair was never really meant to grow.
But when I had hair extensions I felt like Lucrezia Borgia. In a good way.

I expect the same from a man.
If he pretends to like the same humour I do, sooner or later it will grate on him.
If we really find eachother funny it will be all exy-sexy.

Hey, I am a guy who has worn his hairstyles all kind of ways and even had it long enough to French braid! This summer I just decided to buzz it, something I have only done one other time in my life. My hair is still pretty even, no bald spots yet but it is pretty much salt and pepper grey and I think it looks good like this for awhile and after all it is the hottest part of Houston's summer. It's only about 1/2 inch long on top and shorter in the back and sides.

My wife has cut my hair for 12 years or so. She does a pretty good job and it's actually kind of a turn on for me!

right now, my hair is really long, 4-5 inches. I've had longer, long enough for a ponytail touching my shoulders... whatev.

I have been contemplating growing it out to donate, but that means a minimum of 8-10 inches, more is better. I don't know if I can wait another six months of looking like ted kazinsky, as Twil's observed. the beard isn't helping either.

I haven't had a haircut in over 15 years. Once in college, I got it cut shoulder length, and before that, my previous haircut was probably in junior high school.

Top 10 reasons for short hair

1) The heat and humidity
2) Your hairdresser was on holidays
3) You had head lice
4) You're really going for the Michelle Williams look
5) You're a low maintenance kind of gal
6) Makes you look younger
7) No more bed-head
8) It attracts younger men
9) You don't own a hair brush
10) It's easy to blend in with the Hell's Angels

11. Some people, of both sexes, look damn good in short hair.

Ortho does, but unfortunately it also comes with baggage for her.

Thanks, Bruce.
True, it's always more fun when it's voluntary.

I would adore having long, dark hair. Although I'm really missing my auburn. Light brown just doesn't float my boat.
