My Brain is Old

So, today was the first day that it was cool enough when I left the house to wear a coat. My coat has an inside pocket which holds my wallet very nicely. I put my wallet in it.

When I got ready to leave work, I freaked out...couldn't find wallet. It wasn't on my desk, where I usually leave it. Spent a half hour looking around, in my truck, in drawers, even went through the trash.

Then I realized that it was in my coat, which was hanging on the door hook of my office, which was open, so the coat was invisible.

Fuck.

wow! an invisible coat. Kinda like Harry Potter.

Does that keep the wind off?

since wind is invisible, too

I've only had a couple of lovers that were substantially younger than I. The rest are pretty contemporaneous.

I am forever losing my keys. I now keep my car key hidden inside my car. I can do this because I live in a very small town with almost zero crime. If I was living in the city, I'd have to wear my car key on a chain around my neck. BTW, I never can find my wallet, either.

Same thing happened to me last week. The first day this season I don't wear cargo shorts to work I forget to pickup my wallet. I thought for sure it had fallen out of my back pocket on my way to work on my bike. In a panic I went back home and there it was still sitting on the drawer.
