I like O'Malley...he seemed to do well as Baltimore Mayor and Maryland Governor. I would not mind seeing Bernie Sanders run, but as a self-described socialist, he wouldn't get anywhere.

I thought Jon Huntsman was a good guy on the GOP side, but no one seemed to give him a serious look. Also, Gary Johnson and Buddy Roemer were decent.

I also felt John Huntsman was a credible, rational sounding candidate.

I agree. I thought Huntsman would be great, but he has the personality of cardboard and that doesn't get one elected.

Huntsman comes off as an okay dude. Rand Paul does not. He is a "libertarian" against all the libertarian things the American people have embraced over the years. Gay Marriage, Choice, Legal Pot... He is simply a conservative in sunglasses.

He was for the Libertarian things until before the last election when he was called to K Street and received lots of funding in return for changing his position to align with his new money bearing overlords.

So the first filter I'm using is "Did you support the invasion of Iraq?"

Bernie Sanders, Lincoln Chafee, Martin O'Malley and Jim Webb have survived this round.
