Thanks JH, I knew someone would eventually get around to it.

Thanks for the clarification. It still feels a bit weird, but since the board is open to lurkers there's really no argument ... except to ask, why is the Cellar open to lurkers/non members/stalkers?

I get it; nothing bad has happened so far. That doesn't mean it won't.

If it wasn't open to non-members then people wouldn't get to read the odd pages that brought them here (often image of the day) and decide they like it enough to sign up.

A closed community would die off. We need to bring in and welcome new members on a regular basis. I had high hopes for Bill. He reminded me of Flint. Someone to come in and stir things up a bit. Oh well.

And all the talk of Coventry appears to have made him catch on pretty quickly. I was hoping to be able to amuse myself reading his posts for a while, like emma's. But he's gone.

I don't remember what, specifically, happened on the porch in Fight Club. Which scene was the porch scene?

I can't find a good you tube clip.

Tyler has the Space Monkey recruits stand on the porch for 3 days enduring insults and orders to leave, threatens to call the police, to hit them with a shovel... and if they stand fast.... they are accepted.

Robert Paulson gives up early but Ed Norton chases him down and tells him to hang in there. (one of the scenes where the duality of Tyler doesn't really fit.... you'd think Bob would have reacted differently if there was only ONE Tyler) ...anyway.... If BW gave up that quickly, it might just be a good indication that he is NOT willing to change his act enough to fit in. And it's such a minor thing. I enjoyed the 'performance', but you had to know it would end badly.

There are so many awesome scenes in that movie.

When he's at work in some conference room and just smiles that crazy bloody smile. I'm chuckling now just thinking about it.

I had him on ignore because I don't like nasty surprises.
I'd check the replies and decide whether to view each post on an individual basis. It was weary.

Cov's okay. Got a good curry scene.
And sadly a thriving prostitute business.
Depends if he's as bad-ass as he writes he is I suppose.

I don't think he really wanted to be here. I mean we welcomed Nelson111 who pretty much just slipped in under the radar. I think I did too. Not all Dwellars arrive with a crash-bang-wallop. Obviously I can't name anyone else who did because they were the sort of Dwellar who you suddenly realised had been posting for a while.

True, we do need big personalities. And maybe we need some new blood. But as I said before, in the pub analogy we do not need people who decide to dance on the pool table.

Unless we're having a lock in.
