In the foreground: Tiny, our St. Bernard/otterhound/German shepherd/pit bull mutt (at least that's what the DNA test said...)

In the background: Pepper, who is either an Australian kelpie or some kind of shepherd/doberman mix. We adopted him back in January and he runs us ragged.

Hey Choco, Pepper looks like he could have a fair bit of Kelpie in him, but that colour mix is not right. You might find tan ones or black ones, but not black, tan and white...unless there's something someone's not telling me. lol Also, they usually have longer hair around their ruff and chest.

No IV. I think he has a nervous condition. He keep licking his hair off. It's worse now than when I took that pic. Just about time for a trip to the vet i think. It doesn't seem sore and there are no lesions, which is why I think it's a nervous condition. Apparently cats are prone to licking their fur off if they're stressed.

haha...nice!

I didn't know there were so many black cats around. It took me ages to find Shaddy. I did want a tom cat in particular though. Not for breeding, but just because I like the temperament of tom cats in general. Females are just like teenage girls if you ask me. You never know when they're going to turn around and scratch your eyes out. Uppity. lol

eta: we have three female cats and they're all weird. They're probably what's causing my poor Shaddy to have a nervous condition. That and the two year old, who loves the animals and isn't cruel to them at all, but little kids make loud noises and drop stuff and run over things (like black cats lying on dark rugs) so I think that's probably it. It really only started after Max was born.
