When you're asleep, that's when the "aliens" re-program you, do maintenance, uploads, downloads, that kind of thing. When you don't sleep for a few days your brain files get all corrupted and loose their indexing. That's when things can get ugly - you might forget to breathe, your heart might not remember to beat, and other bodily functions start to fail.

I probably only stopped breathing only a little since I never really fell asleep and that night was the first time in several months or longer that I had restless leg.

I'm skeptical.

I haven't heard anything yet. fuckers.

I'm expecting to hear what you heard. I'll have to do it again. sucks.

I think I'm on Service Pack 2.

don't be so skeptical. Would be my take on it. If you really didn't sleep at all they'd tell you and have you go back. It's vey rare people don't sleep, but it's not unusual to feel you didn't. I just chaperoned a camp where all of the other chaperones and kids claimed not to have slept, but I was awake late and know they all did. I too felt like I didn't sleep, but I guess I slept in the early hours, once they'd all woken up and couldn't get back to sleep....

Sunday I had smoked a cigar, and drank a good bit of beer, was out in the sun playing horseshoes ....and ate a lot too. When I asked her the next night, Jinx said I snored worse than usual. Monday morning I woke up tired, and was groggy all day. Literally nodding at my desk. If you had asked me, I'd have said I slept through the night. Had a long day, got home late, and had to go back in.... Tuesday was better, but not normal. I slept until 9 am this morning, and could have slept until noon.

I need to lose some weight

It seems to me that when you get a good night's sleep, that's when you feel like you could use a few hours more. That was last night for me. at least 7 hours, but woke up feeling like I could stay there for a lot longer -and I'm a get-out-of-bed-as-soon-as-I'm-awake type person.

no, not if you were groggy the next day. Sorry, it was a more general comment, but I didn't make that clear

for your experience, I'd blame the cigar. Smoking makes hangovers worse and wakes you up after the beer's put you to sleep.

Wait until they do a complete reformat and then realize that the back up tapes for the last two weeks are no good. You'll wake up thinking that it's 1999.

I got the exact same story, but really didn't want the drugs. I asked my own Doctor about it and he said, "NO, that shit is bad news"

Jim, sounds like classice obstructive sleep apnea. I deal with patients who have this very often.

What? What shit? REquip? I take it - the chemo gave me wicked RLS. I take the generic form of requip (ropinerole - sp?) and 1mg gives me peace for the night. what have you heard??
