They're great dogs, aren't they? A friend who works on a local farm has her third Collie and it's such an enthusiastic and intelligent dog.
It will spot sheep half a mile away and take no notice of whatever other treats or diversions may be closer.

Ha!

The cleverest dogs in the pack, are border collies.

Bearded collies (I have a beardie ) aren't quite as intense as borders. Working beardies are probably closer in intelligence and focus, but the ratio of working:show is much more weighted towards show lines.

But even a show line bearded collie, is the cleverest dog I've ever owned. All the collie breeds are clever.

International Philosophy - Greece v. Germany.

I'm willing to stand corrected, but I think this came from an episode entitled 'Monty Python's Fliegender Zirkus' and aimed at the German Market. There's a surprise

Actually, just found this: Wikipedia.

There I was in deepest Wyoming, wide awake at 2am due to body clock being shot to bits, and Dad's Army on TV. Funny how these things stick in your mind. Happy days.

Dude (dudette?) sneezes...directly into his trombone...during a performance. Hilarity Nothing, absolutely nothing ensues.

Happens at the 12 second mark:

I clearly saw the conductor look in the general direction of the trombonist.
