Toys
Hess Oil Company, located primarily on the east coast, would sell toy trucks at their stations for Christmas.
They were cheap, included batteries and built really rugged. I remember buying them in the '70s and '80s for $12 0r $15. Last year Hess sold their retail operations to Marathon Oil who changed the station names to Speedway. I was surprised when Hess announced they would issue a 2018 edition for $35, batteries and shipping included. I Googled it and it had a link to Hess for $35 and a walmart link for $75.
