I'm shocked

https://www.mlive.com/news/ann-arbor...-homicide.html

Someone I vaguely know was murdered.

This is someone connected with our summer pool and my good friend's next-door-neighbor. I couldn't believe it when I read it in the news this morning. Still can't. He used to grow beautiful flowers in his front yard -Dahlias mostly- then cut them and leave them out in vases for the neighbors to take.

He'd go to the pool in a Speedo and at one point applied to be a lifeguard (a post usually help by teenagers). I think he was worried we were low on teenagers that year).

He enjoyed life so much.

I'm just... shocked.

And then the thought I can't share...... it never occurred to me what a porn star name Dick Fortune is (they guy was in his 70s FFS), but he did always wear a Speedo I wonder if the secret life will come out...

I hope he really enjoyed his life. He seemed to.
