Back to Dr. the 10th. She said "Things were looking great, she was happy."
I go back on 9/9. Then she'll make a decision about the oil in eye. It's still dilated some and will get better since I stopped the drops.
Might give me new glasses, but that might not work, because the brain couldn't handle that much difference in eyes. If so, will wait till oil is removed.
I can almost read this print now.

glad to hear it busterb. though it won't help with other areas, in Firefox it is easy to increase the size of the text by holding the ctrl key and pressing the + key. ctrl and - will make text smaller, and ctrl and 0 (that's zero) will return the text to the normal size.

Was back to Dr yesterday. Said all was well. Might do a little laser spot welding in a few months. Looks like my eye might stay dilated.

How in the hell did things go so far wrong? When they did the cataract surgery I was happy, could see again. Then things went to hell. 5 surgeries and still in limbo.

Well, in the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king.

So, you got that going for you, which is nice.

Sorry to hear this, B. Cataract surgery probably didn't cause your problems. Either the problem was there, but couldn't be detected because of the cataract, or the problems developed after the surgery. It sounds like your current problems are all about the retina, at the back of the eye, and cataract surgery takes place pretty far to the front of the eye. All the best.

Dr. again today. She's going to leave the oil in awhile longer and try glasses. Later will remove oil and do some laser spot welding.

I'm so sorry about your eye problems. I know how frustrating medical issues can be

Must be hard to spot-weld eyes, with the giant welding mask on.

Yeah Monster this shit has been old.

She also gave me eye drops, that may be contraindicated for people with COPD. I called and left a message, nurse called back, took info. No word since.
I'm not trying to 2nd guess the DR. She might not be aware on my health problems, because she is at the UMMC, not VA. In fact she's # 2 in op??????? eye dept.
