My reading of the rules says that the votes are worth 10% in the final judging. So they are important, but HM's excellent pictures of the sculpture floating above the snow, his unique design, and the fine craftsmanship all count for more.

But I voted 3 times too.

apparently there is no verification of your email address, even if you make a typo in it your vote still counts... if you catch my drift..... although probably best do do only a few in one session to avoid flooding concerns....
