My concert hit list

I live in a vacuum. I've only been to a few live concerts:

AC/DC (two different ones)
John Cougar (yes, back then)
Billy Idol
Styx (three times, I like 'em, sue me)
Genitorturers

That's it.

guilty

Undertoad asked about arena rock. I'll have to plead to several counts.
The Guess Who
Steppenwolf
Styx
Asia
ZZtop
Moody Blues
Fog Hat
Bunch more I saw on their way down. (Blurred picture of rolls of fat hanging over leather pants races through mind) brrrrr... feeling a little naseous.

Mellencamp puts on a good show.

My concert list

Alright, you ready for this?

You sure? Okay...

NOTHING.

I have been to no concerts, ever. I was all set to go to see RATM/Beastie Boys (which would have been the end-all, be-all for me), but bloody Mike D. had to wreck that bloody Schwinn and his bloody ankle and cancel the bloody tour...bastard.

And then RATM broke up. So now I hate him even more.

MCA and Adrock are the better of the two anyway. I blame Mike D. for bringing religion into the group and mellowing them all out. I don't care if one of the others says to my face that it was them, I blame D.

Lousy D...

feel your pain. I was gonna see 'em late last year too. But that shit happened. Don't think I ever got the refund on the tickets from ticketbastard either...

I've seen RATM twice, and I must say, it's a pretty incredible show. Seeing it from 10 feet at HFStival and Woostock == two really really really energetic shows... very cool.

I saw RATM back in the olden days (Lollapalooza '93). They were the opening act, and there weren't many people there while they were playing. But they WERE good.

I haven't been to a show in a couple of years now (marriage will do that to you!), but here's what I've seen:

PJ Harvey
Morrissey
The Wedding Present
REM (3x)
Blur
Public Enemy (3x)
Yatsura
Indigo Girls (2x)

Lots more smaller stuff I can't remember....

A few..

I've only gone to a few concerts. They would be:

Jimmy Buffet (Twice)
Allman Brothers
Phish
Trey Anastasio
Spin Doctors
POD

I would've gone to alot more but I live in Southampton, NY, which happens to be kind of secluded away from all concerts.
