I'm curious to know the author of the "My Butt hurts" comic. I'm pretty sure I saw it on a card a year or two before it appeared on the internet with different artwork. Doing a quick search for it, I've found 3 different versions, but no credit given to a creator.

Is that a rabbutt shadow, or a signature?

Whoever that person is, I bet they're pissed about all the money they're owed.

So the signature was subsequently edited out?!

I try to bury mine in the image.

I'm not usually that concerned about copyright, but this is an outstanding comic and the creator deserves credit. It's copied all over the internet in various forms but no credit to be easily found. I don't even know if Gill was first or if Gill stole the gag from someone else.

I agree, they deserve recognition/compensation for their widely popular creation. Whoever they are.

I think Gill's original image was different. The "butt bite" is digital while the rest is hand-drawn. I bet the speech bubbles said different things in the original, focusing only on the one rabbit's bitten ears.
