Doooooods! It happened! The Boys' team just WON THE FUCKING STATE CHAMPIONSHIP! We birthed two state champions. We have the right genetics! We have a third one in this series available to the highest bidder.... (Beest, I got our retirement plan sorted.....)

and...... PoloBoy is a Captain. Weird thing about high School teams here -girls' teams, the parents all pitch in and play to their strengths and get the jobs done. Boys' teams... the captains' parents do it all, regardless of availability or skill. Boys' teams also often have a bajillion captains. this year, a mid-bajillion -three. I do fear for my sanity if I have any left

So The Girls' swim&Dive team just became state champioins too. no Pressure, boys' Swim&Dive, no pressure......

Did I tell you CamoBoy has decided to swim&orDive? First practice Monday. *sigh*

Home Opener for the Hockey Team tonight. GoalieBoy started. Should probably be in the hockey mom thread but I can't be arsed. swapped with Pretender half way through. They lost. Goalie boy let in 5, pretender, 3, but the defence upped it's game after a stern talking to.

Sadly the Swim/Dive championship was a year too late for PoloGirl, but she's still a state champion. You gotta wonder what's in the water at the Birdbath, tho'
