-Oh, and! The other sites are dead as well... -_- People really should be on that place 24/7 to catch all the clues that are there only for a day or so...
And there are so many things I never got to see! Frustrating.

How would you like it if someone came along and picked something off of you? That was posted in the forums a while back.

thats a reference to the Wizard of Oz, when dorothy and the scarecrow (i believe its only them, kinda makes reference to the light prompt of "Dorothy and Scarecrow") take an apple off of the tree, the tree yells that line at them.

Also, the book "Dance Dance Dance" can be found here:

http://yanko.lib.ru/books/lit/engl/m...dance-engl.htm

If you scroll down on the page more you'll see where the story starts...its the complete book as far as I can tell! also anywhere where there is "<<...words...>>" that means the same as quotations ("...words..."). So if anyone has some spare time but doesn't feel like buying or borrowing the book from the library, please look this over, as the more people we have educated on the many sources he draws from, maybe people can put together previously unregarded bits of information...

[EDIT: I just found this essay online!

http://gbctrans.com/essay/essay.html

Earlier in the forums somebody (i believe redneck?) found quotes from frankenstein and from something else (i cant remember), but then he also said that in the diablo.gif picture he found the phrase "The french man in a box." Now I just skimmed through it so the comparisons aren't complete, but In that essay, it describes Bertolt Brecht (man with ideas of alienation)'s conversation with a woman he would later marry:

"So that's how you plan to spend the rest of your life?"
"Probably. At least that way I won't be bothering anybody."
"If you really feel that way," she said, "Why not live in a shoebox?
"A charming idea."

A man in a box, with theories on alienation (a main theme in both books), not necessarily french though
.
I'm gonna go see what more I can pull out of Google, but honestly, read this essay! it's especially helpful for understanding the basic idea(s) of Dance Dance Dance and The Wild Sheep Chase for those who haven't read them.]

Has anyone heard truthfully if anyone has gotten past those first 2 lights???

thanks, at least we have a few people still interested

Anyways, this "he" is the creator of TINP, supposedly Kris Boruff...I don't know if this is true or not, but...anyways, I've ordered Dance Dance Dance and The Wild Sheep Chase (the prequel to Dance Dance Dance and possibly another source of information ["whathappensafterwetireofchasingwildsheep?", anyone remember that?]) and I'll get reading on them...I'm also gonna get Eudora Welty's compilation that has Death of a Traveling Salesman in it, and who was it that said Audition was a book about a salesman? I don't remember if it was on this board or not, but if it was someone here, can you tell me where you saw it? The only thing I can find related to "Audition" that may have any relevance is a movie about a guy who fakes a movie audition to find a new wife and ends up with some psycho girl...you can amazon it if you wanna find out more about it.

PLEASE post if you have new information or something we overlooked before.

P.S. Is SilverPheonix and/or YellowBolt still out there? They were ALOT of help before and if they could still help out then we might get this figured out sooner, if at all.

You guys remember on the Master/Betrayer prompt, the right eye, which led you to Phillip Dick or whoever's fortune cookie, and it had the poetry, and when you would get to the very bottom line, something like "You are not of the path" would flash? Well I dunno how important that is or isn't, but it doesn't flash anymore...does that mean that maybe that section is part of the path now?

It did flash just now, actually. =/
The person who made the site does keep on changing it bit by bit from what I've heard, I hope he'll add some new hints soon. ..

Hey guys... my friend's dad is navajo, he said one of the navajo messages said... "A path only blind men see. & There lies the key." I don't know exactly what message it was from...... but yeah. Maybe that might help someone out, if someone hadn't already found that. He says he swears he saw something like that in Dante's "Inferno" and is looking it up. But this might be the wrong referance.

awesome info Ender, see if you can have that guy convert as much as he can, anything we can get helps alot.

I did a google search for blind men's path, and it came up a few times with this short play based on a fable the Persian poet Jalãl al-Din Rümï wrote, I don't know if that's the right reference (he seems to like to reference novels) but it is basically about the problems with human ignorance, political propaganda, etc. etc., but I remember seeing somewhere something about Truth...could Truth be the key? I dunno, heres the web site:

http://www.ecospherics.net/pages/PageBlinM&Eleph.html

This is pretty cool too...because it references both elephants and a Hose (Jobe's wife was plagued by runners and a hose), so maybe this play (or more assumably the original fable) has something to do with this.

[Edit: It turns out this fable was big influence to the american poet John Godfrey Saxe, so if anyone is familiar with his work, maybe we could check that out for any sort of blind men's paths, truths, keys, etc.]

I don't know I will ask my friend exactly which code it was he saw. On another note has anyone found the correlation between the black page, that talks about sitting at a table. And the candle page? It just seems like it should go together, with the blackness, and then the candle lighting the way, and they are both linked off of the Moth links.

Are you talkin about the "candle" that is made up of a bunch of colored letters?

Because if you are, I think earlier in the thread it said that it was a lighthouse and that the lighthouse had relevance to the boys of Marken, so I assumed that what that was...

But then again, it could have multiple meanings.

I'm gonna kill TINP, I've gotten minimal sleep over his stupid website.

http://www.thisisnotporn.com/cellphone/

Very wierd, listen to all of the messages. Number 3 really freaked me out because my name is Jonathan...

Also...If this isn't new news..and this is kind of wierd like he is watching who is on his puzzle and etc. There are a group of numbers below the Scandinavian Imports truck that if you highlight and put in your address bar lead to the cellar forum topic on "This is not porn."

Strange...

Silverphoenix is number 26...
