Paintings and Progress

I thought I might start a thread for any painters out there that would like to show work. I know there are at least a couple of others out there, so hopefully we will get to see your art!

Recent Paintings

I hope these aren't too big.

I created these two last week:

"Anticipating Arrival"
11" X 14"

and...

"Unexpected Discovery"
8" X 10"

God Case, they're beautiful! Unfortunately, I'm no artist or even an art afficionado, so I don't really have the language to tell you why I like them. Maybe its the richness of the colours.

Thanks, guys! I am trying to get myself motivated to paint more. The more I paint, the more I want to paint. Funny how addiction works, isn't it?

A fine addiction it is.

Way better than any of mine (addictions, that is!)

Well worth it Case - keep up he beautiful work.

Like Dana, paintings aren't an area in which my words will necessarily convey the right thing. But I love the colours and the second one especially shows me exactly how every woman's thoughts are coloured.

What size are they?

SG - the first is 11" X 14" and the second is 8" X 10".
V - Yes, they are for sale. Prices can be found on my blog...though I figure UT doesn't want me to turn this thread into a for sale sign for my art.

Thank you for your compliments. Now, where are the other visual artists? Mockingbird? Razz?

Case, these are BEAUTIFUL. I LOVE the texture in both of these, especially the second one. Great colors, too. Beautiful!
