Threads you don't get...

I don't "get" this thread or this one.

I'm sure they are wonderful threads chock full of amazing ideas, but I don't understand them! I've tried, and tried. Have they won awards?

I used to only get a handful of threads, but ever since I got my new digital tuner I get like three times as many.

Bwaaahaaaaaa...good one!

Hey, I should be getting my coupon any day now. Where the hell do you buy the converter box? I didn't see any at Wally World. Also, how much more does it cost above and beyond the coupon?

I don't know. I broke down and bought a new TV.

I think Dar posted a link to one he researched and thought was good. It's in that tv thread.

Oh, and now that you have a great new job, you should get a new tv. I LOVE my Panasonic. Although Homeless Guy would probably never leave, so scratch that.

Dar's recommendation is here.

If you want HG to leave, get a couple of big ferrets. It worked for me.

Ooh! Ooh! Tell Homeless Guy that you "won't be working at _____ anymore" and thus can't afford for him to live with you anymore. It'll be true!

Sometimes I don't get what other people find so interesting in some threads. Most of them I get the idea though.
