Cellaritis

My dear friend and former first/second grade teacher of my kids, a vegetarian and avid nature lover comments on Sping sprunging on facebook and just posted:

Baby cardinals!!!

So I typed out a recipe.

(sautee lightly with a little garlic and fresh chives, and serve on a bed of steamed broccolli)

I'll often regale Mum with stories from here.
She doesn't seem to mind.
She tells me about her wide circle of friends and accquaintances and the such like as well - usually when they're diagnosed with something fatal. They're as real to me as you are to her - she doesn't get lovely prizes at Christmas from them after all.

yeah, apparently most of my life anecdotes now come from the cellar. And I keep whipping out my camera and taking crazy treasure hunt pictures.....

That's just reminded me, I haven't updated the pictures of food from my family lunch on Monday...
