second favorite pair of Carhartt pants have a hole, right there, at the bottom of where the right front pocket ends. That's where I braced the battery, briefly, as I readjusted my grip on it during an installation. Next time I washed the pants, new hole.

Thanks battery acid.

That's a pre Big One, WW II, item, before plastic became ubiquitous.

I don't know if they refilled that bottle of they bought it in bottes like that and swapped them out.

At Boeing we had Sulfuric and Hydrochloric in stainless steel drums that looked just like beer kegs. A tapper and an evil mind could really hurt.

Thanks battery acid.

Same story, different article of clothing, and different dispensing method.

I was wiggling the battery post/clamp on a buddy's 3/4 ton 4wd Chevy while he tried to start it. The tall truck fender meant the battery was about six inches from right eye when it decided to assplode. About a six inch piece of the battery left the vicinity in quite a hurry. I got a good dose of acid on my KY Wildcats cap. Holes everywhere.

Still have it. It's my Good Luck cap.

Thanks battery acid.

It spattered your cap from six inches away and you weren't blinded? ◔_◔

I'd change my whole damn wardrobe to the KY Wildcats line, summer, winter, spring, and fall.

I once caught a bit of spray in a situation like that. It caught me on the eyelid, on the fold of my partially opened eyelid, one flying drop making two wounds that showed the shape of the drop when my eyelid was partially closed, like the folding surprise picture on the inside of the back cover of a Mad magazine. It scabbed over nicely, and I'm ok.

But it was >< close....

The proper response is immediately flush with clean water for ten minutes.
Not curse a blue streak while wiping your eye with your sleeve.

Not my eye, but a fair mist on the face in general.

I cursed a blue streak and wiped my face with my shirt-tail. No wounds, still ugly as ever.

The final cost of your procedure will depend on the type of peel you want, the condition of your skin, and other factors unique to your case. Light chemical peels can cost as low as $150, while deep chemical peels are generally the most expensive, as much as $6000.
