The bowl is upside down. It wouldn't hold air that way.

The scene never changes, the clouds don't move. Fish like to torment their pets by giving them false hopes of escape. It's disconcerting that you didn't recognize this trick done with bowl and mirror. It's a fish classic. You seem to be in denial! Have you ever been abducted by fish? I'm sure you'll talk about it when you're ready.

About the fish bowl..... I respectfully think .....it's just surrealist art and it is up to the viewer to decide what it is to them although I am pleased to see it spurred discussion.
