I like Gravdigr's pic a lot... the barn offers contract in weight, color and texture.

Aluminum. Melts/cools quickly for demo purposes... Notice they aren't using the actual iron furnace (giant stone thing in background) either.

That is real pig iron in the ground, but they just put it there as a prop.

Jinx. Great shots. Anvil Mike had a friend who worked at a foundry, in Fl. He made mike a few castings.
