why don't I get any of youse guys references?

I have two guilty pleasures:

Rosalind Pilcher (I love how everyone in her novels is drunk as a lord--OR, have 'scrubbed tables' and huge herb gardens full of potentially poisonous shite)

and Alice Hoffman--witches, magick, sex and black soap to keep your skin like a five-year olds.
What's not to like?

You didn't get Arthur Dent, you're a stranger to me, Brimney, Bridget, what ever your name is.

at Dingleschmutz,

first two I thought of:

recommend the first one if you want some dodgy gear that fell off the back of a lorry, second one, a quiet afternoon at the allotment.
