Snowmaggeddon Looms upon Us, Yet Again.

French Toast ingredients in hand, but once again, unlike the rest of you slackers I will be heading off to work so the junkies have a warm place to sleep and three squares.

The original 1 to 5 was upgraded to 4 to 6 and on the way home I heard 10 to 12.

for Pete's sake don't tell footfootfoot otherwise you'll still be digging yourselves out in April.

here in UK it's Abitcoolmageddon with odd misty periods.
(Famous last words,) "but we've had no snow yet this winter".

I was taking the day off for a 10:30 eye appointment, and now my office is closed, so I don't have to use leave. Sweet!

Of course, I don't know if the Docs office will be open, and I'm out of lenses!

They cancelled the first of 4 grief counseling sessions I was to attend today. It's too cold to grieve (my mom would've chuckled at that.)

Snow and high winds. Someone told me this fall that farmer's almanac said it was going to be a rough winter. I've never paid attention to FA accuracy, but they got this winter right.

Snow piling up here and M'town is shutting down. They don't send out the plows until after it stops snowing ...

Ah well, time to do some work at home. I'm not complaining!

You can see where it's getting bad by the traffic maps.

oh, i LOVE driving in the snow. I really do. in my JEEP. ...but the dickholes in Hondas (like tw) in front of me really piss me off. I remember last time I left here in a big snow storm, it took me 3.5 hours to get home. I am at work right now. we closed 2 hours ago, and everyone else left. I stayed to bill deals. I'm going to leave here in a few minutes. the 8 minute ride will probably take me 20. and traffic has lessened significantly since the afternoon hours.

HA HA, just an hour ago the TV drones were interviewing people who'd been traveling awhile. Half were bitching about the crazy people going more than 25, risking life and limb of the entire western world.

The other half were bitching about the assholes who were clogging traffic and wouldn't allow anyone to maintain momentum.

Ugh, storm-triggered migraine coming on. So much for a cozy, productive evening.
