We settle Friday. We have the rest of the month of August to move. Packing my garage is very daunting. Being that the new house is 6 blocks away, I may just run car loads of things over a hundred times.

We moved a block once, years ago. It was absolutely horrible. It was even downhill and we had a dolly. Fucking brutal. Carrying armloads of stuff a block.

We had movers to come here. It was far more stressful that when we used "a man and a van" and our car to move a couple of miles and did a shed load of back-and-forths that took all day and night. We didn't have to make a load of decisions in advance...... and you have all month. It seems perfect to me.

I'm expecting an invite to your birthday party in your new back yard. Unlikely to make it, sadly, but I'll damn well try
