Monster, I am jealous of your creativity!! Those costumes are so cool. What is the body of the anglerfish made of though? I can't for the life of me figure it out.

As for their mating scheme, I did not know that and now wish I was still ignorant. Thanks for that Halloween trick, jinx.

The angler costume is made from thin foam -you can buy squares of similar stuff at craft stores for about 30c each, but at the Scrap Box, they sell end of roll stuff from some manufacturing process or other. They also have a cool pattern to make knights helmets, and I adapted the top of the helmet design for the arse of the fish. It's one piece of foam, apart from the teeth. they are stuck on with duct tape. they eyes are a plastic easter egg.

Monster that is bloody good! Just wondering, does it have an internal frame of wire or such, or is the foam sturdy enough on its own?
