And really, isn't the barrel of the gun kinda nice and smoothy-slippery anyway? You wouldn't think they'd have that much trouble. Should be easier than the thing the nug is a substitute for.

Have we considered the Raging Judge Magnum yet?
Quote:
Taurus has introduced the gigantic Raging Judge Magnum. In additional to the standard Judge cartridges, the .410 shotshell (2.5"/3") and .45 Colt, the Raging Judge can chamber the .454 Casull!
I can see uses for this. If I were hiking in country with bears or other large predators, having the 3" version ready to hand, perhaps with the first chamber empty for extra safety, could be a good idea.
Although the lady in the first pic is smiling in a way that suggests she has an alternate use for it, that may or may not involve KY.

Sounds like that mofo would kick so hard it would break your wrist, but I guess that beats getting eaten by a bear.

Wouldn't be able to do much practicing with it, then.

A Decidedly UNCOOL Weapon

Several pics, but, alas, no backstory. Check this out.

WARNING: Last few pics are a little on the gruesome side. Might not be SFW.

I saw that the other day and it confused me. Obviously he used smokeless powder instead of Black Powder, but why does a muzzle loader have a bolt? Cleaning?

That particular muzzleloader is designed specifically for smokeless powder. My guess is he used the same amount of smokeless as he would have used black powder. A very large difference. The bolt is for placing the 209 shotgun primer (instead of a percussion cap or flint) behind the powder charge.

Yeah, that's what I meant.

Didn't know that, I don't mess with muzzies at all.

But why do they give the info at the bottom right for blackpowder as well, or am I reading it wrong?
