Buddy is a little over 6 months old now. I bought an e-collar and just a pop or 2 has broke her from chasing walkers in the street. Now just the tone brings her to the door.
Sorry photo of after a bath. Forgot to change settings on camera. 10 minutes later she was in dirt with Shelia.

I forgot to add this info I got from petplanet about Buddy.
General Character And Temperament This is an intelligent dog but it has a mind of its own. Therefore, it is not that easily trained. It is recommended that firm, consistent training techniques be used to overcome the dog's natural tendency to dominate, while not incurring a sense of injustice. Unfairly treated, a dachshund will sulk at length. Early socialisation is required in order to acclimate dachshunds to children, strangers and other animals. They are a breed that becomes quite attached to their family and usually one family member in particular, however, they will be less friendly with strangers.
Intelligence This breed is intelligent but not particularly easy to train since it has a curious nature and a mind of its own. It can be very difficult to overcome the hunting instinct and train the dog to come when called. Early socialisation is required in order for it to learn to get along with cats and other dogs. Socialisation will also help it overcome its natural wariness with strangers.
Thus the use of E-collar. bb

No, but they take just as long to detail.

Adopted a dog today from a local shelter! She's about 2 years old, a bichon frise, and supposedly named Princess but has yet to answer to that. Her past training is minimal, so I'll probably just rename her. Any suggestions?
Here she is all tired out from long emotional day.

"Shaun" from Wallace and Gromit's A Close Shave? It's not gender-appropriate, but it's cute.

Lovely pup, MTP.
