Keryx has a detached retina and needs an operation. We will know more later on this week I hope.

The shit they do with eyes these days is nothing short on amazing. It's scary and pain in the ass, but the prognosis is excellent.

Scary as hell, but this has happened to a couple of people I know and the surgery was quick and quick to recover from -they eyepatch was the worst part. Go Keryx

What's involved in a detached retina, anyway? I mean, I know what it is, but, is there pain involved? I assume there is vision 'impairment', and all. I've never known anyone that went through this.
