Reddited today

The system has been busy all day because it was linked to by a story on the front page of reddit.com. It was Bruce's ruler tattoo that got linked.

I have more memory in hand that should try to address this problem, but I haven't been able to get to the colo during business hours to install it!

Sigh. Not just reddit'd, but reddit'd and dugg. At the same time.

Only just now have I figured out how to solve the problem in a sort-of trivial way - I'm redirecting those IotD browsers to another server and just showing the image, not the entire IotD.

This will make the site usable again -- instantly, as if by magic. We're good to go and hopefully I can remember this trick next time.

Great job keeping this thing going, guys. IotD could have died when UT got tired of doing it, but the community has really stepped up. Being dugg again and again is just proof that the quality is here to stay.
