Finding a song title.

I use playlist.com. I found a song that I like, and wanted to find it on youtube, but when I searched for it, the results were all a different song. If the song was originally mislabelled, is there a way to find out what it really is?

I once heard there was a app on the iPhone that would let you enter the melody, and it would find the song on the internet.

I know... that's not really any help, but maybe it will spark someone else's memory

The song was listed as Shallow by Porcupine Tree. This is what I continue to find, but it's not the one I'm searching for. The original is not showing up on my Playlist.com playlist. Hopefully it'll be back soon.

It is good, but not what was originally labelled "Shallow". Most of the Porcupine Tree I've heard is good, like

and

Do you know some of the lyrics? I have simply written lyrics in "quotes" into a google search and found songs that way.
For example ... "Never let them tell you that they're all the same"

Tried that, and tried lyrster, with no luck. The only lyrics I remember are "tonight, we can be shallow, for tommorrow"

If you do a quoted search for those lyrics you get one result. That result is that post.

Is it possible you've misheard those lyrics?

"...for tomorrow" @ 2:26

It's worth noting that is also the single result if you search with the word "tomorrow" spelled correctly.
