Hamilton

If there is one thing this world has been missing, it's a hip-hop broadway musical about Alexander Hamilton by the legendary Lin-Manuel Miranda.

You can't imagine how badly I want to see this.

A Hip-Hop Soundtrack For A Musical About Alexander Hamilton? Sure, Why Not?

Heard this piece on NPR, it sounds genius (the show, not the piece).

My daughter just bought it on iTunes and has been playing it this evening through the stereo for us. It's pretty good.

My friends are really excited about it. I'm not sure what the fuss is about, but I'm game.

Here is King George's breakup song with America after the Declaration of Independence.

And on the subject of foreign characters, here is the anthem of the Marquis de Lafayette:

I would seriously fly to New York just to get to see this show. But I could never get tickets, because they've already presold $30 million worth.
