Excellent - somewhere we can direct new people or those who want to check the place out a bit. Very good idea.

That's a good start... we also need links to a place where they can get bullied, and another where they can be insulted and run off for the heinous crime of being newbies.

Where could we direct them to, where they can innocently espouse their most dearly held beliefs and have them shredded and doused in ketchup? Anywhere in the Philosphy forum?

It's not very "guided" if you don't give links, 'spode.

Journal Entry, Chaos 30, YOLD 3175:

Late Afternoon. Having observed the tribal territory marker I have found in the jungle (large rock in clearing with inset cellar-door, see previous Journal entry), I have discovered a strange text inscribed into the rock near the doorway. The runes seem faintly familiar to me, and best of all the Holy FIVE is inscribed next to the last line of text. This is surely a sign from the Holy Mother. I shall have one of the Tengu fly back to port to deliver this news to the Academy. If only they could avoid the dreaded Pterodactyls long enough to do some high altitude scouting, I'm sure I would find the rest of the Safari in no time.

Well, nothing to do now but wait. I shall sit in meditation until I am required to Act.

God helps those who help themselves. Besides, why should the blind lead the blind?
