Thanks for your efforts in researching that, Mr G.
 Just relying on memory, I think that a new generation of 'Bang seat' had to be developed for the Harrier. They were described as 'Zero Zero' seats as they could be used on the ground and with no forward speed. Must have been one hell of a boot up the arse when you pulled the handle.
