May 8, 2012 Fattest Kitty dies at 2

Meet Meow:

A little wheeze and the doctors came running.
Even the specialists, too.

No more meows from Meow the Cat,
who only lived to be two.

R.I.P.

Picked up from Shine.

Yours may be the fattest one now that the 39lber died. Should get that thing to the vet. Otherwise, if its just that big because of breed it doesn't count as fat.

Unless the breed is Siberian Tiger (or the like), it's doubtful any cat is that big by nature.

Housecats certainly can be big...but 37 lbs? That's an ottoman!

Poor cat. Unless there was some kind of metabolic disorder involved, that's animal abuse.

Our cat Bootsie weights 16 Lbs and Keryx calls him fat ass, with love.
I feel bad for Meow, I know what it is like to be super fat and it is not pleasant.

It's not my cat, I said he's living at my house. And it is partially his breed--he has a large, muscular frame like a turn-of-the-century strongman.

Regarding the diet, I'm not sure how you would do that as he eats the same food out of the same bowl as two other cats.
