Today, I thanked my husband for sorting out the cup/tea/coffee cupboard and cooking a nice dinner.

I thanked my daughter for remembering to cut out shapes from the edge of the piece of card, not the center.

Last night I thanked my son for fetching me warm socks.

I don't believe in any form of god or spirit, so I just don't get the point of having a day to be "thankful" in general, but I sure do appreciate the days off, so thank you, America.

This, but born in the UK...

and:

My family: that the closest of whom emotionally are also close geographically close

My friends: those nearby and those in other lands

Pilau: my little wolf.

The University of Leeds: beautiful campus, a brilliant School of History, and one of the best research libraries in the UK.

Doctor Who: the gift that keeps on giving

Television: long may it reign.

Computers and teh interwebz: allows me to play out my dreams in the virtual and to have good friends around the world.

The English language: which I adore

My country: whose story has fascinated me for as long as I can remember.

That my daughter was in someone else's vehicle when I tried to total my husband's truck last night.

We'll see if I was successful after the adjuster visits it.

The bad luck just keeps on coming...

For a litre of Glenmorangie, limitless amounts of ice cubes and an easy daily schedule.

It's official. I totalled the truck. Not only do we need to buy a new truck now, the resultant loss is going to make it very very hard for Red to hit his June bonus.

Being my agents wife means I'm going to have to give double the blowjobs to make up for this one.

Thankfully, I'm a better at giving head than driving.

ETA, Red is probably thankful too
