Shoes horses as well, assuming the box amidships actually contains shoes.
Do you have a link for that image please, Bruce? A Google image search didn't bear fruit and I'd be interested to know the where and when of it. I'd hazard a guess at London about 1950. Pickfords is still going strong by the way.
