Jumper has long been one of my favorite books, so I admit to being a little disappointed the movie does not seem to follow the book (and sequel) too well. I'm excited, but we'll see.

I did not know it was a book; since I'll not be seeing the movie, I may pick that up.

Personally, I predict it's going to be yet another flaccid boil on the great ass cheek of popular American culture.

But I'm kind of a downer about Hollywood flicks. It's pretty consistent.

Jumper, by Steven Gould. Excellent book. There's a sequel, too.

My 18 year-old son saw it and he didn't like it....he HATED the guy who played the lead--Christian Haydensen or something?

Finally saw Jumper. Can't say it didn't have its good bits, but hated the bad guy they cooked up for it. (The B.S. about the jumpers and paladins is NOT FROM THE BOOKS!)

Didn't like Hayden Christiansen at all--wish they'd stayed with the "younger" actor.

And the whole film was slightly ruined by the lead actress's unfortunately strong resemblance to Rachel Ray.

I thought it sucked - what a cool concept, though it was done very poorly.

I too thought it sucked.

Wouldn't it be cool to be able to teleport though... yeah, no one's ever thought of that....
