assuming you've only selected people still alive, is it a combination or a permutation?
put another way, do they have to kark it (UK) or buy the farm (USA) in the order you specify?

It's hard enough getting these fuckers to allow my nominees. Let's not make it impossible.

Anyone on your list dies, you get points. Points are 110 minus [age at death.] So one young death gets you more points than several geezers in their 90s. Most points at the end of the year wins.

thanks clodfobble a really concise and comprehensive explanation.

funny thing is that in UK we just had the Clint Eastwood/Liam Neeson movie "Dead Pool" a week or two back.
might have to have a crack at this myself

To the best of my recollection, I have never accurately predicted a single celebrity death in this thread. So if you're making your list, I would stay away from everyone I picked.

I would suggest that Ashley Purdy is not on your to be seen naked list... he may not be on anyone's naked list actually.

Molasar, I think rules are spelled out in as much entirety as they get in last year's thread, but most of the ones beyond points and how famous the corpses have to be relate to ways of preventing 36" from cheating

.....but I'd be willing to entertain the notion of a bonus for people who get 3 or more hits occurring in the order listed....

GRJ was a completely random out of the air pick ( subliminal suggestion maybe) of a humerous man I would rather see more work from and hope he lives on for many years, Ricky Gervais on the other hand...

I didn't recognize this name, so I googled it and came up with this article from last November:

Quote:

He is sitting in an upstairs room at the University of Edinburgh’s Peffermill Playing Fields, 42 years old and in a wheelchair, 89 caps, 38 tries and one World Cup and none of it matters any more to Joost van der Westhuizen as he talks about the importance of family and what really matters in life. There are two things that we as humans take for granted. One is health and the other is time and the great Springbok scrum-half is not blessed with either

Diagnosed with motor neurone disease in May 2011, Van der Westhuizen was given a 20 per cent chance of surviving five years while at the same time being told he might not make it to Christmas. But here he is in Scotland, strapped into his wheelchair for fear of falling forwards, speaking with great difficulty, unable to use his arms and admitting that what he has is a death sentence, but smiling all the while and saying that he’s going to fight it. He’ll fight it with everything he’s got
and you wonder why people accuse you of cheating? I don't know that this is against the rules...per se... but it seems a bit of a foregone conclusion.

Prince Phillip
Lindsay Lohan
Stephen Hawking
Olivia de Havilland
Valerie Harper
PD James
George Bush Sr.
Ed Asner
B B King
Sid Caesar
